Chelsey joined Ascend Wealth Partners, formerly Retirement Planning Group, in May of 2023 as an Investment Support Specialist, with five years of industry experience in administrative services. After building a foundation in the financial world, Chelsey felt a true calling to focus on her professional career development with the goal of helping families with their financial planning and wealth management. As a Paraplanner, Chelsey works closely mentoring with our advisors, assisting with client meeting preparation, case analysis, and implementation.
Chelsey is a registered representative working in a support capacity who has completed the following FINRA exam: Series 7 (General Securities) and Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law Examination).
In her free time, Chelsey loves spending time with her husband, Trevor, and chasing their two beautiful children around while enjoying the great outdoors, fishing, camping, and swimming.

- What is your ideal vacation spot?
Probably Africa. I’d love to go on a safari excursion and experience the culture.
- Favorite sports team or hobby?
My favorite hobby would have to be romping around in the woods with my family. We do a lot of fishing, hunting, mushroom picking and exploring. It’s our favorite family time.
- What was your first job?
My first job was working at Dairy Queen in my home town. I had a lot of friends who worked there with me.
- What do you most enjoy about working at Ascend Wealth Partners?
The relationships I’ve made with my coworkers and the clients. It’s a good feeling to enjoy the people you’re surrounded by every day.
