Alex joined Ascend Wealth Partners, formerly Retirement Planning Group, in the summer of 2023 as our Receptionist. She quickly proved to be an asset to our practice and moved into an administrative support role for our Client Service team. Previously, Alex spent eleven years in the medical field as a receptionist and referral coordinator at a local pediatric clinic. Her professional experience, upbeat positive personality, attention to detail, and exceptional client service is seen in all that she does for our fast paced and growing practice. She is currently attending Lane Community College to earn her associate degree in business management.
In her free time, Alex likes to spend time with her fiancé, Derek, their two beautiful children, their dog and two cats. Her hobbies include snowboarding, reading, and making frequent trips to Washington to visit family and friends.

My ideal vacation spot is anywhere with a beach, good food, and music.
- Favorite sports team or hobby?
A little of everything with football, baseball, and hockey, my favorite sports teams are the Seahawks, Mariners, and the Krakens.
- What was your first job?
My first job, as a junior in high school, was the Sausage Shack at the Washington State Fair.
